In accordance with social-distancing rules, Manly District Band (MDB) ceased all activities in March 2020, only resuming rehearsals and performances in March 2021. Unfortunately, the DELTA variant emerged in June 2021, and lockdowns have again forced the band to cease activities. There is some hope that lockdowns will begin to lift from October 2021, but it looks unlikely that groups of the size of MDB will be able to get together again before 2022.
All band members will be contacted as more information becomes available, and rehearsals will not recommence without the committee making confirmed contact with each member, so don't feel you need to chase us for the latest plans for recommencement.
The website will also be updated as more information becomes available, including any information about further cancellations and anticipated recommencement dates.
